getBangla.com

bKash and Nagad charges

See how much cash you keep and how much leaves the wallet. Standard agent cash-out, Priyo agent, ATM, send money and merchant payment are separate. A rate that is not confirmed is not calculated. Offers and account type can change the app figure. Match the charge on the screen before you confirm.

How to use this calculator

For cash-out, decide first whether the figure is the cash you want in hand or the total that will leave the wallet. Those are not the same number. Only a checked rate produces a result.

Last updated means this page was edited. Last checked means the fee was compared with its source. The two dates are not the same job.

getBangla is independent. It does not process payments or applications. Confirm charges in the official app.

  1. Pick the service — Cash Out, Send Money, or Merchant Payment. Send money and merchant payment do not use the cash-out percentage.
  2. For cash-out, pick the channel — Standard agent, Priyo agent, or ATM. The channel buttons stay hidden on the other services.
  3. Say what the amount means — “Cash in hand” is the notes you want. “Total debit” is everything leaving the wallet, fee included.
  4. Confirm in the app — If a rate is unchecked or two official pages disagree, this page does not invent a figure. The app screen is the one that counts.

USSD codes: *247# and *167#

If the phone has no internet, the same jobs still run from the registered SIM. bKash opens on *247#. Nagad opens on *167#. getBangla cannot send or withdraw money; the code only opens that wallet’s own menu.

Menu numbers change by account and update. Follow the label on the screen, not a number you remember from last year.

The two official codes

Dial from the number that holds the wallet. These codes are not a cash-out by themselves.
WalletUSSDWhat opens

Nagad*167#Nagad Mobile Menu

Helpline: bKash 16247 · Nagad 16167. Confirm a new menu label with them if yours looks different.

Balance, send money, cash out

After the code, pick the label. Then enter what the menu asks for. The PIN is last.

Check balanceMy bKash → Check Balance → PINMy Nagad → Balance Enquiry → PIN
Send moneySend Money → wallet number → amount → PINSend Money → Nagad number → amount → reference → PIN
Cash outAt the agent: Cash Out → From Agent → agent number → amount → PINAt the uddokta: Cash Out → From Uddokta → agent number → amount → PIN

Count the cash before you leave. Both sides should get a confirmation SMS.

Cash out from a bKash agent with *247#

  1. At the agent — Tell the agent the amount. For ৳5,000 or more they may ask for your NID. Write your bKash number and the amount in the register.
  2. Dial *247# — Choose Cash Out, then From Agent.
  3. Enter the agent number — Ask the agent for the number. Then enter the amount and your bKash PIN.
  4. Count the notes — You and the agent should both get a confirmation message. Count the cash, then sign the register.

Cash out from a Nagad uddokta with *167#

  1. At the uddokta — Tell them the amount you want in hand.
  2. Dial *167# — Choose Cash Out, then From Uddokta.
  3. Enter the agent number — Type the uddokta’s Nagad number, the amount, then your Nagad PIN.
  4. Wait for the SMS — Take the cash only after both phones show the confirmation.

ATM cash-out is a different path. On official bKash pages: *247# → Cash Out → From ATM → PIN. An SMS security code arrives and stays valid for five minutes, once. Only listed partner ATMs (BRAC Bank, City Bank, Q-Cash on those pages) use that rate.

What each service actually does

Four jobs, four fee rules

The fee column says how the charge is decided. It is not one rate for every row.
ServiceWhat happensHow the fee is set
Send MoneyMoney goes to another wallet numberA flat taka amount, based on that service’s own rule
Merchant PaymentPayment to a shop or billThe fee shown for that payment
Agent Cash OutCash from an agentA percentage or a fixed-per-thousand fee, by agent type
ATM Cash OutCash from an ATMThe ATM rate for that machine, not the agent rate

Nagad is not given a number in this table. Its official charges page did not yield a rate that could be confirmed.

৳10,000 in hand, standard bKash agent

Say you want ৳10,000 in cash from a standard bKash agent, with no special offer. This is not the Priyo, ATM, send-money or merchant figure.

  1. Cash in hand: ৳10,000.
  2. Fee: 18.50 per thousand, so ৳185.
  3. Total taken from the wallet: ৳10,185.

Cash in hand + fee = total debit. Priyo agent, ATM, send money and merchant payment do not use this ৳185.

How the estimate is built

Cash-out, cash in hand: total debit = cash in hand + fee

  • Percentage fee: fee = cash in hand × the rate for that channel. Standard bKash agent is 18.50 per thousand.
  • If you type the total leaving the wallet, the sum runs the other way: cash in hand = total debit − fee.
  • Send money is not this formula. It is a flat taka amount that depends on the month and the number type. Two official pages disagree on the small free band, so no single taka is filled in.
  • Merchant payment is not this formula either. The app shows that shop’s charge. A zero fee is not assumed.
  • Nagad is left blank until a rate is confirmed on its charges page.
  • Money arriving from abroad is a different sum. FX is on the dollar and riyal pages, not in this fee.

Common mistakes and scams

  • Sending an “agent commission” to a stranger’s personal number. A real agent’s fee is taken inside the cash-out.
  • Sharing your PIN, or the OTP / SMS code, with anyone.
  • Sending money before you have checked the recipient number.
  • Trusting an unofficial “0% cash-out” post or an old SMS short code.
  • Confirming before you have read the final amount and the fee on the app screen.

FAQ

Why does my app show a different charge?

Account type, a Priyo monthly limit, an offer, or agent versus ATM can all change the fee. This page only calculates a rate that was checked. If the app disagrees, use the app.

Is cash-out the same as send money?

No. Cash-out gives you notes from an agent or an ATM. Send money moves taka to another wallet number and does not become cash. The fee rules are different.

Is Nagad always cheaper?

No. There is no rule that one wallet is cheaper for every service. It depends on the service, the channel, the account and the offer running that day. A current Nagad rate was not confirmed from its charges page, so none is shown here. Compare the two apps for the job you are doing.

Can I add money from a bank here?

No. Add Money from a bank is a separate service, and this calculator does not price it. The charge is on the app screen. A figure is not invented here.

Can I cash out on getBangla?

No. getBangla is an information and calculator site. It is not a wallet. You cannot send or withdraw money here.

What is the bKash USSD code?

Dial *247# from the registered SIM. That opens the bKash Mobile Menu. No internet is needed. Pick the label on the screen — Send Money, Cash Out, or My bKash for balance.

What is the Nagad USSD code?

Dial *167# from the registered SIM. That opens the Nagad Mobile Menu. Send Money, Cash Out (From Uddokta) and My Nagad → Balance Enquiry are on that menu. Helpline 16167 if the labels look different.

How do I check bKash or Nagad balance without the app?

bKash: *247# → My bKash → Check Balance → PIN. Nagad: *167# → My Nagad → Balance Enquiry → PIN. Menu numbers can change; follow the label.

What does bKash Priyo Agent cash-out cost?

Official bKash pages currently disagree: 13.95 taka per thousand on one page, and 14.90 per thousand (1.49%) on another. Both say the lower rate covers up to 50,000 taka in a calendar month. Above that, the standard rate is 18.50 per thousand. This page does not pick a Priyo figure. Use the charge the app shows.

Is ATM cash-out a different charge?

Yes. On the official bKash pages, BRAC Bank, City Bank and Q-Cash ATMs are 14.90 taka per thousand. That is not the standard agent rate of 18.50 per thousand. It does not apply to every ATM.

How does getBangla update a fee when it changes?

The fee row and its “last checked” date are updated when the source is read again. “Last updated” means the page text was edited. “Last checked” means the fee was compared with its source. A rate that cannot be confirmed is left blank.
